Welcome from Cannes.
Today was our toughest day, as foreknown by our planning. Today we woke up before 6:00 and started at half after. We arrived in Cannes at 4:30 pm, after 80 miles, and more than 5,000 ft of climbing.
After scouring the Internet last night, I saw that many of the roads we biked on today and yesterday were the same from Stage 6 of the 2008 Paris-Nice Race.

Today we biked up two category 2 climbs, the latter of which we climbed without stopping!
And although dad and I got lost in Cannes from each other, we somehow both made it to the hotel at the same time.
