Today we tackled the Alps, and was probably our toughest day as to date.
Today we biked primarily on the same roads as Stage 10 of the tour. But they didn't have to bike with tanks without assistance!
Today we biked 3600 ft of elevation, with some climbs as high as 10%.

We biked entirely on N85, and biked up Col de Bayard, which was not biked on the tour.
There were still chalk markings on the road from fans of the Tour. We even saw some yesterday descending the Col de Bluffy.
Again, the heat was a battle after 12:00 pm. It is no surprise (especially to mom) that there were no other cyclists on the road, given the extreme heat and dense traffic we dealt with.
However, tomorrow shall be easier with the first half of the trip a descent, and half the climbing.

Glad we made it to Corps!
