Today, the extreme temperatures were the most brutal so far. We left Gap at 7:45 and it was cool. But by 11:00, we were in for a long day.
Ultimately, we could not eat enough and drink enough to stay hydrated and fed. It was no surprise to see nobody cycling after 11:00.
However, the first part of the day to Sisteron was beautiful along backroads, in which we saw many other cyclists.
Tomorrow will be our longest and most climbing day, in which we leave the Alps and head to the Mediterranean Sea in Cannes.
Now for photos

Good night!
